I can try for a picture later tonight or tomorrow. But it's actually not something very obvious you can see. When I took them out (the Hope seals in this case, the most recent fail), one of them looked ever so slightly deformed, a bit elongated. Perhaps also with an edge that wasn't 100%...

Yeah maybe? All brakes that started leaking I use for trials riding, so they see some massive impact forces, as in, full on locked wheel slamming hard into a ledge with (me and my bike's) 100 kg on top. I've had so many brakes leaking past the pistons, it's pretty insane. Formula T1 two sets...

(Excuse the English) Had the same with my A2s, after just two rides. Took the piston and seal out, but looked fine. Kept leaking though. Not very confidence inspiring. Hayes EU support sent me a rebuild kit for the caliper, after I contacted them directly. So far so good with a new seal and...

V4, but unfortunately also leaking. Please excuse the English, my German is not good enough to write more than a few words :) The seat stay must have had a small crack right below the weld. The aluminium was slightly discoloured/darker there. Never noticed it unfortunately, so no idea how long...
