Yes you can reduce the travel, i reduced mine to 120mm. You can get 20mm spacers (so you'd need 3 spacers to lose 60mm of travel). I'm sure mojo will have them in stock.
1. undo the nut on the bottom of the the left hand leg (undo it about 3mm and the tap it with a soft hammer, then undo it all the way).
2. undo the left hand top cap and remove spring.
3. drain any oil that's left (most of it should have drained in step 1)
4.remove the plunger, it should just fall out of the top when the forks are upside down.
5.place spacers below the head of the plunger and put back into foks (this may be tricky and time consuming).
6.pour fork oil through the hole in the bottom of the leg (fox website will have amounts)
7.place spring back into leg (you will need to chop the spring down a bit to allow you to get the top cap back on).
8.put top cap back on and tighten, screw the nut back onto the bottom of the fork leg.
