Die beiden dominierenden Fahrer der World Cup-Saison 2015 haben ihre herausragende Form erneut bestätigt und auch das letzte Rennen für sich entscheiden können: Aaron Gwin und Rachel Atherton heißen die Sieger von Val di Sole und auch die Sieger des Gesamt-World Cups 2015. Aaron Gwin legte dabei wieder einen absoluten Fabellauf auf dem schwierigen Felskurs Val di Soles hin und siegte klar vor dem ebenfalls starken Loic Bruni und seinem Teamkollegen Troy Brosnan. Loris Revelli ist der Rennsieger bei den Junioren, der Gesamtsieg geht hier an Laurie Greenland.
