So hier mal die neuen Rahmenbeschreibungen von Dartmoor.
Hornet frame! One of our best selling frames is now designed for those who left fear at home. If you like to hit drops, wallrides and rough terrain on a HT bike, Hornet will be a good choice. And now for a tech talk: on the rear you will find a 135x12 through axle, the new seatstays are stronger, stiffer and better looking for a proper abuse. On the front go for the fully integrated headsets, which are now shorter for the joy of the long travel forks and cleaner look. HT Freeride and agreesive Enduro are the comfort zones of this one. Frame will come out in 2 different sizes to suit the needs of everyone. New geometry is designed to choose between the dynamic of the 27.5" wheels or the agility of the classic 26" wheels. Tech. spec.:
ST sizes: 16", 18". CS: 426mm. HT angle: 68 deg. with 160mm travel fork. TTef: 590mm (16") or 613mm (18"). TT: 576mm (16") or 596mm (18"). Weight: 2.2 kg (for 16" size).
Hornet 4X is the fusion between the stability of Dartmoor Hornet and the geometry of our so far Four-cross machine: Dartmoor Phantom. On the construction side it will have the same new arrivals as Hornet 2014 so you will be welcomed with a fully integrated, short headsets; new, custom designed and stiffer seat stays; strong 135x12mm through axle.
Hornet 4X gained its rapid geometry from his olderbrother, Phantom while staying in the lightweight category of 2.1kg. The 400mm chain stays will make it a very agile frame to sneak through the hard elbows of the opponents. The head angle of 67 degrees points in no other way than the finish line of the track and a 609mm effective top tube length as well as 340mm (13.5") seat tube size should suit the needs of the riders who shred them. For 2014 it will come out in only size and is compatible with 26" wheels. All the geometry settings were measured for a 100mm travel fork.
Primal is the younger brother of the Hornet frame. This design will be the best company for a day long trips through the woods. Its our proposition for those who want to make the first steps into Enduro riding. Primal will be available to ride with both 26 and 27.5 rims. This beautie was designed to give as much pleasure as possible with 3 sizes to suit all the adventure enthusiasts: 16â with a toptube effective length of 578mm, 17â with 600mm and 18â with 618mm. Every size has a chain stays of 425mm, 69 degrees head tube angle measured with a 120mm travel fork. Despite the clean look this design offers the use of a drop post (integrated fly through in the seat tube) and an integrated, shorter head tube in taper standard. Also as we are at the clean look topic, those who like to hide their weak spots at the hard journeys will appreciate the âstealthâ cable runners. Smooth welds and 2-tone painting are the glimpse of luxury we included with this entry level frame. For now, it is up to you to Ride Your Way with this one!
