I think you need to unlink your filetypes from ST3 and then relink them so
.logbook3 and .fit open ST3; and
.st3plugin opens ST3 for plugin install.
This might require a windows uninstall and reinstall, possibly with a registry clean.

Without seeing your post actually I did the very same today. I even compared the registry keys and values between these two laptops as regards the hits for ".st3plugin". Finally I bravely changed or deleted some of it from "applicationassociationtoasts" on the new W10 64 laptop. These moves did not help.

Then I removed manually all the installed plugin folders into a temporary folder and desperately I clicked on one of the .st3plugin files. It properly installed. This file was in the root folder of the drive D:\

I was happy, but none of the other plugin install files ran properly. I checked all the properties of the good one and the bad ones. There was only one difference, the owner. But changing it to Guest to my windows account name made no difffernce.

Then I moved the good file into the same place where I stored all the other plugin install files and it did not work. I moved to some other folders and finally I had an idea, just some of the bloody Hungarian vowels with accents cause the problem, if any of them could be found in the path name of the plugin file to be installed.

And my test concluded with it: no problem with "á", "é", "í", "ó", "ö", "ü", just with "ő" and "ű". Funnily in German there are "ö" and "ü", but using "ő" and "ű" is almost fully unique all over the world.

And the root cause of this phenomenon has nothing to do with W7 and W10 difference, but with the fact that my W7 32 bit OS was installed in Hungarian version, but on the new laptop I went for the English version of W10 64 bit OS.


You know why, just to help myself in case of any troubleshooting, because one can find the exact references to OS related problems much much easier in English on the interweb. than in Hungarian. Big laugh on myself.

ich hab nach vielen Jahren jetzt auch einen neuen Rechner und hatte das Problem, das nach 90 Tage das installierte Sporttracks meinte es ist nur eine Testversion und läßt mich nur die letzten 30 Tage zurückblicken. Sportdaten seit 2002 nicht mehr einsehbar.
Das mit der Licensierung klappte halt nicht, Forumsmitglieder die Hilfe angeboten hatten sind schon länger nicht mehr aktiv gewesen.

Mit der Version 3.1.8000 sind alle Probleme bisher weg

Bevor ich es installiert hatte, man weiß ja nie was da so zum runterladen bereit gestellt wird, mal die Datei bei virustotal.com überprüfen lassen. Sie wurde das letzte Mal 8 Monate zuvor gecheckt und jetzt wieder mit dem gleichen Ergebnis, 2 unbekanntere Scanner schlagen Alarm, die anderen 70 sehen nichts.

Ich lasse gerade die anderen Versionen (dies sind aber die Installationspakete) 2.1.3325, 3.0.3924, 3.1.6690 und 3.1.6934 überprüfen, immer finden 2 Scanner etwas, die anderen 70 nichts.

Die originale SportTracks.exe der Version 3.1.6934 (MD5: 0a98cc848454dc4d31e45d9f7af71ec1 ) ergibt genau die selben Meldungen wie die 3.1.8000 , es nimmt sogar zu weniger IP Adressen Kontakt auf.

Von daher sieht es gut aus.

siehe Posts 305 ... 308 und 330. Da steht drin was man braucht. Den Link müßt ihr euch ggf. zusammenbauen (lassen), ist aber nicht so schwer

Ob ein Aktivierungscode notwendig ist, weiß ich nicht. Bei mir gings ja auch mit meinem Code nicht.

Da ich heute mit Sporttracks rumgespielt habe, mein Kartenplugin "open-street-map-plugin" von Openstreetmap ging nicht, weil nicht vorhanden.
Habe es dann vom alten Rechner auf den neuen kopiert (die Daten des alten lieg zum Glück komplett auf dem neuen )
Die Dateien sind von 2012, funktionieren noch.

Sporttracks schließen.
Einfach das Verzeichnis aus dem Pfad
ProgramData\ZoneFiveSoftware\SportTracks\3\Plugins\Installed\
das komplette Verzeichnis
\141937ce-27b5-4d01-84fb-05d5e72d9923\
vom alten Rechner zum neuen kopieren.

Sporttracks öffnen, unter Einstellungen ist es da, meldet sich das Update notwendig wäre, was ich nicht mache, weil es funktioniert - mich aber rauch vermuten läßt, das ST noch ne internetverbindung aufbauen kann, was für die Karten ja auch notwendig ist.
Bei der Kartenansicht dann oben rechts, siehe Bild.

Das Plugin "SportTracksUploadToGpsies_v3.0.1" (von 2010 ) habe ich auch noch nur GPSIES gibt es nicht mehr

Hallo, nachdem lange Zeit alles problemlos lief, kann ich seit kurzem mein logfile nicht mehr öffnen. Zumindest klappt es nicht in 4 von 5 Versuchen, dann geht es doch wieder. Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich da machen kann. Das File hat eine Größe von 368971 KB, als knapp 370 MB.

Folgende Fehlermeldung erhalte ich:

Das Problem hatte ich auch, hab irgendwo hier im Thread was dazu geschrieben gehabt, falls es noch aktuell ist:

Logfile kopieren, umbenennen und per Doppelklick öffnen.

Je nach Anzahl der Aktivitäten würde ich pro Logfile grob 5-6 Jahre drin lassen, zumindest unter 200MB bleiben, damit hab ich keine Probleme, man hat dann leider nicht mehr alle Aktivitäten zusammen, aber ein stabileres ST

nach Umzug von Sporttracks 3.1.6934 auf einen neuen Rechner werden keine Karten mehr geladen. Ich habe mir für thunderforest ein API-Key besorgt. Geht aber trotzdem nicht. Habe gelesen, dass es mit open-street-map-plugin-v3.1.7002 gehen soll. Ich habe noch 6807. Kann mir jemand 7002 per PN schicken oder Mapnik?
Und wie installiere ich ein reines plugin file. (z.B. open-street-map-plugin-v3.1.6807.st3plugin)? Aktuell habe ich die Plugin-Verzeichnisse (C:\ProgramData\ZoneFiveSoftware\SportTracks\3\Plugins\Installed) vom alten Rechner kopiert.

Tatsache ist aber, dass mein alter Rechner nur noch die Tiles anzeigt, die noch im Cache sind
Der neue Rechner hat noch nichts im Cache und zeigt gar keine Karten an. Im rechten Eck kreist kurz ein Pfeil und dann ist Ruhe.
Auf einem noch älteren Rechner hatte ich früher noch die Auswahl OSM Mapnik. Auf dem jetztigen Rechner ist es nur OSM thunderforest.
Sonst ein Tip, wie ich wieder an Karten komme. Egal ob Google maps oder OSM

As far as I know there never was an OpenStreetMap version 3.1.7002
To downgrade a plugin in ST3 go to Settings->Plugins then select ST Map Provider for OpenStreetMaps
Under Plugin Details click Uninstall.

I use version 4403 with MapNik and ST3.1.6879 (patched). I cannot use 6807.

Und wie installiere ich ein reines plugin file.

You should be able to click on an .st3plugin package and ST3 will start and install the plugin.

Elend... Mit meinen dicken Fingern habe ich das Plugin GPSBabel von Old Man Biking deaktiviert und kann es nun mangels aufzufindendem Key nicht wieder als Vollversion aktivieren. Neukauf geht nicht, den Plugin-Shop gibt es ja nicht mehr. Die Testversion läuft, aber nur noch vier Wochen.

Es wäre gar großartig, wenn jemand eine Idee oder Lösung hätte.

ich habe jetzt probiert, wie ich Karten angezeigt bekommen.

Kurze Zusammenfassung:

• Ich verwende Sporttracks 3.1.6934
• Wenn keine Karte angezeigt wird, SportTracks Map Provider OpenStreetMap in Einstellungen deinstallieren
• SportTracks schließen
• open-street-map-plugin-v3.1.4403.st3plugin durch Doppelklick auf die Datei installieren

Nach Start Installation von 3.1.4403 hatte ich die Auswahl

Ist bei mir mit ST 3.1.8000 und OSM plugin 3.1.4403 genau gleich. Aber gut, ich kann soweit mit Mapnik leben und bin sehr froh, dass ST/OSM überhaupt noch funktioniert!

ST3 ZoneFive Admin released a plugin compress-data-plugin-v3.1.6814.st3plugin
If you have installed this plugin then it shows on the Daily Activity -> Edit menu as Compress Data
Method of use is to select a month at a time in Daily Activity, then invoke Compress Data.
At first only do one or two months before saving and reloading ST3.
Compress Data works by removing duplicated values from the logbook. I.e. if your pulse is the same over multiple trackpoints than only the first pulse value is stored until the pulse changes.
Compress Data will compress an activity by about 30%

1) Hat jemand mal versucht jetzt noch den Cloudsync in Sporttracks zu Sporttracks.mobi anzustossen, um alle "alten" Daten in Mobi zu Importieren?
2) Was passiert denn z.B. nach einem Jahr wenn ich mobi nicht mehr bezahle? Hab ich dann zumindest noch zugriff auf die bis dahin eingegeben Daten oder wird das Konto komplett gespert?

Hab nirgens ein Forum oder eine FAQ auf der Sporttracksseite gefunden.

Kann Dir die Frage zu Cloudsync nicht direkt beantworten, aber falls Du die Daten auch noch auf anderen Plattformen hast wie Garmin Connect, kannst Du die auch direkt syncen (https://sporttracks.mobi/works-with/).

Ich habe im 2020 bei einem Trial Daten für über 10 Jahre hochgeladen. Ich kann die auch jetzt im mobi-
account ansehen/analysieren, obwohl ich keine subscription habe. Aber hochladen/syncen geht natürlich nicht.

Ich werd den Cloudsync in SPORTTRACKS einfach mal anstoßen und schauen was passiert.

Ich habe seit dem 20.7. ein Problem mit dem Elevation PlugIn, das gibt ne Fehlermeldung aus, das es ein File nicht finden kann.

Dachte zuerst das liegt daran, das ich in der Lombardei bin, aber im PlugIn kann man vers. Methoden wählen, Voreingestellt war „..ViewfindersPanoramas 1..“, das will nicht mehr.

Mit der Nr. 3 davon gehts aber!

Falls also noch einer das Problem hat….

Today I faced new problems. I abandoned both my Garmin Fenix 6X and Enduro, which shared the same software and bought an Enduro 2 (equivalent of Fenix 7 (Pro) family ).

The .fit file stored by Enduro 2 must have been changes, because my ST3 equipped with Garmin Fit Devices plugin are not able to import any data tracks.

With Fenix 6X and Enduro I already had problems with GPS tracklog and elevation track, but using a secondary import/update with .gpx file was a good workaround.

If I use the .gpx with Enduro 2, too, it also imports cadence, heart rate, and certainly still GPS data and elevation, but I do not get power. So apart from power I am OK with the native data tracks.

Which is more mysterious is that none of the Custom Data Tracks are imported when I use the .fit files for the "primary" import, just the Custom Data Fields. My biggest pain is the Connect IQ Power from Stryd app.

I double checked the files with fitfileviewer.com and the .fit file of today's run logged by Enduro 2 shows the same data fields name as the .fit file logged by Enduro for these custom data tracks. I mean under the Record section/message of .fit file.

I cannot see differences in how the developers data fields are specified, both Enduro's .fit file and Enduro 2's .fit file use Field Description for that.

And both files use Developer Data ID to specify the CIQ application ID, and the same values are in those.

Is there anybody around who tried to import to Sporttracks -fit files from Fenix 7 / Enduro 2 or newer watches? Or maybe from newer Edge computers?

Is there anything I can do to modify either in the logbook or somewhere else to get the Stryd power data to ST3 as I did earlier?
