My garage is too full, need to make some space.

1985 Mantis XCR

One of the early composite Aluminum/Steel XCRs built. Large or maybe even XL frame (ST 21.5" / TT 24.5"). This bike was sold to Chuck Parmenter who was a mold maker and built the first prototype Nishiki Alien (out of wood!!!) for Richard Cunningham. When I got the bike Chuck claimed that this was the first XCR (red one from MBA) that was upgraded for him and repainted in the color you see now. I spoke with Richard about this and he could not confirm the story, but he did say that he named the bike as "CLEO'S XCR" after Chuck's little Beagle of which he was very fond of.

Seat tube: 21"
Top tube: 24.5"
Stem: 100mm

Build is nearly as I got it with a Mantis unicrown fork, Mantis stem (100mm), Mantis aluminum handlebars and Suntour XC/XC9000 group with roller cam brakes and early Cook Bros cranks. Bike is excellent condition with a couple small scuffs here and there, no dings, no dents, no cracks, no rust really barely any blemishes at all. Everything is in tip top shape and the bike is fully functional and trail tested.

Asking : $3300 USD shipped via USPS

1992 Litespeed Titanium

Nearly mint condition Litespeed Titanium in a gorgeous polished finish. I got this bike from the original owner (through a mutual contact) who had it built for him back in 1992. The bike lived in Ohio which is not known for it's off road trails and mountains and it had slicks on it since new and maybe saw 200 miles of use - according to the owner. The build has every single part that Litepseed made including, fork, stem, handlebars, seatpost, bottom bracket and even the very rear quick releases - all in Titanium of course. The build is all M900 with 100% matching date codes from September 1991 (PI). The wheels feature Mavic Cermamic rims and red Ritchey Megabite tires (these tires were originally Gary Kleins and are hand labeled as Klein Deathgrips). Everything is 100% functional and trail tested.

Seat tube : 20" c2c
Top Tube : 23.5" c2c
Stem : 135mm

The bike is in perfect condition, I think the only flaw is a couple small chips in the ceramic coating but other than that it's virtually perfect. Since the photos were taken I've swapped the seat with a mint condition Selle Italia Turbomatic 2 seat which has matching yellow accents to go with the decals

1982 Fat Chance

Purchased from the original owner this is the 3rd Fat Chance mountain bike made by Chris in 1982. Fully fillet brazed frame and fork hand made by Chris Chance himself. Documented in the serial number book and verified through purchase from then individual listed in the book. As far as I can tell this is the earliest known Fat Chance in existence today. Writeup on the bike here (Link). Bike was ordered directly from Chris in New England and remained in the hands of the original owner until I bought it. I did very little to restore the bike other than clean and overhaul, replace tires and swap the original Specialized bar/stem with a matching Fillet Brazed Bullmoose with original Fat Chance decals. Bike is as shown in the photos in this listing,

Seat tube: 21" c2c
Top Tube : 22.5" c2c
Stem : 135mm with 28" width

Bike has a couple chips and scratches but is in nearly mint condition for it's age. I also have a custom chrome rack built for it by Gary Helfrich that I will include in the sale. Everything works 100% and has been trail tested.

1989 / 90 Bradbury Manitou

Original Bradbury Manitou made by Doug around 1989 / 1990, I don't know who this was built for so can't confirm the exact date but the build characteristics of the frame place in that year split. I purchased this as a frame back in 2015 and completed with fork around 2016 and had it painted. Fun fact, for you Porsche fans this bike was painted in the same color and by the same painter who painted Magnus Walker's 930 Turbo. Build is 100% as Doug would have spec'd it. Features DB fork, stem, hubs (custom black anodized front hub OG from Doug), modified XT front derailleur, Cook Bros 145mm BB and custom rear Ringle QR (bolt on front),. Rest of the built is M732/735 XT with Cook Bros cranks, IRD post and Turbo seat. Wheels are built on Specialized GX23 rims and clad in Specialized Hardpack tires.

Seat Tube : 20"
Tope Tube : 24.5"
Stem : 120mm

Bike is in perfect condition, there is one tiny paint chip on top tube about the size of a pin head (2mm) other than that it's perfect. Most parts are new or nearly new (brakes, and cranks have been used but are in great condition). I've not ridden this bike off road, but have down a quick shakedown on the street, everything works perfectly.

1991/92 LeMond Titanium

LeMond Ti bikes are pretty rare to begin with, but this one is a even more special This was Bob Roll's team bike (one of two) that he received for the 1991 season. Bob confirmed this fact and also confirmed that he sold it at the Denver Swap Meet in the early 2000s. Frame, fork and headset are original while the rest of the parts were sourced by me to approximate his Mavic build as much as I could. There are very few photos of Bob racing on a Lemond and the only ones I've seen are of his blue bike which was equipped with M900 XTR. So, this is my best guess at how he might have raced it. I looked at photos of how Greg had his bike setup and used that as a reference.

Seat tube: 21" c2c
Top Tube: 24" c2c
Stem: 135mm

The bike has been ridden hard, lots of paint chips and scratches, but no dings or dents. The fork does have a crack on the right leg where the brake post mounts. I have a spare set of silver/gray legs I will include as a swap. The parts are all in good shape and feature a complete Mavic Dakar group including seatpost, Scott AT4 pro bars, Flite saddle and Panaracer Smoke tires front and rear.

1984 Fat Chance

If you're a collector of vintage mountain bikes and a fan of Chris Chance then here is your opportunity to acquire a virtually brand new 1984 Fat Chance. This is not a kicker and predates that model by a couple years. This model was the mainstay of the Fat lineup in 1984 and is built almost exactly to catalog spec including the very sought after filet brazed, box crown fork. The build includes moistly Shimano M700 / Deerhead, with Tourney cranks, Suzue hubs laced to Ukai rims. The bars are Nitto Bullmoose with Magura levers and Grab-On grips. The bike is in absolutely amazing condition and appears to have virtually unridden, which is a shame for whoever owned it but a treat for whoever buys it next.

Seat Tube: 17.4" c2c
Top Tube: 22" c2c
Serial: 84115

Aside from some tiny littles scuffs here and there this bike is in virtually unridden condition. The tires are quite dry and although they look fine I would not trust them on the trails at all, display only condition.

Grove Innovations Woods Bike

It really kills me to sell this as I am a huge Grove fan and this is one of two in the world woods bike, but it's not a bike I ride and it's been sitting in a dark corner of my loft for nearly 7 years now. Again one of three built and two surviving Grove Woods Bike, basically a trials bike you can ride from your house to the location and bike, a sort of early crazy adventure bike. This was formerly in the MOMBAT collection and one of the few bikes I bought to have in my collection after Jeff's passing. I completed it with a matching Hothead bar stem and otherwise just overhauled everything and got it up and running. I've ridden the bike a few times and it's totally crazy. If you've ridden a Hard Core and though it was strange to be that high up this bike will really do a number on you. Features custom Grove made hubs with 160mm rear spacing, Grove Hot Rod cranks, Hard Core fork. The drivetrain is XT, tires

Hard to measure this thing, I'm 6'1" (185cm) and it fits me really well, so I'd call it a large.

Hey @MKozaczek, just in case you open your garage these days and in the darkest corner you find a lonely and bored MERLIN Elevator frame/frameset/whole bike in 19 inch, which says: "I want to get shipped to Germany!"---then, I please you!, drop me a line asap...

Thanks Emil
@AgentKlein:
