Cane Creek DB Inline Coil - weniger Klicks als im Handbuch

Hi,

hoffe das Thema gab es nicht schon.
Habe es zumindest nicht gefunden.
Habe einen neuen CC DB IL Coil gekauft.
Die laut beiligender Karte Default Einstellung stimmt nicht mit der Realität überein.
Das ist ja erst mal kein Problem.
Aber im TFG sind die maximale Anzahl der LSR und LSC Klicks mit 25 angegeben, im beiligenden Factory Default Kärtchen mit weniger (hab die Zahl bzw. Karte gerade nicht zur Hand).
Und der Dämmpfer liegt in Wirklichkeit irgendwo dazwischen. Da komme ich auf 23 Klicks die ich einstellen kann.
Ich habe extra mehrfach ganz sensibel ausprobiert.
Ist das "Problem" bekannt? Hatte das schonmal jemand?
Von der Funktion her kann ich keine Probleme feststellen.

Ich habe direkt be CC angefragt:

"[...] The Factory Neutral Base Tune Card shows LSR and LSC a maximum of 18 Clicks and a Factory Neutral Base Tune of LSC 7 and LSR 10.
The TFG shows a maximum of 25 Clicks for LSR and LSC.
My DB Coil IL has a maximum of 21 Clicks LSC and 20 Clicks LSR and came with a Base Tune of LSC and LSR of 12.
So which Numbers are correct for Base Tune and why do i have another max click count than all documentation i find?"

und folgende Info bekommen:

"The DBIL shocks have a usable range of 18 clicks...
Anything more than that is not affecting damping"

Rückfrage von mir:
"From which position do i count the usable range of clicks? From open or closed?
Are the additional (non affecting) clicks normal or is it a sign for a problem?"

Antwort:
"The extra clicks are normal and I start my tuning from the full open position.
Once you hit 18 clicks the needle valve is closed so anything after that is not affecting the shock."


Wenn also mal jemand die gleiche "blöde Frage" hat, findet er hier evtl. die Antwort.
