Hier mal der Wortlaut von Mitch@Trek (MTBR-Forum):
"Just to address the low chainline concerns, the rubber guard is thickened to prevent the chain from touching the frame but also helps reduce noise (as was intended). You'll find the chain to sit low for both a 30t and 34t chainring. Also, this was all designed to work with a 10-50t (SRAM) or 10-51t (Shimano) cassette."
"Both carbon and alloy have a minimum of 30t.
There is more spacing for a 30t on the alloy, so we stock that with a 30t and the carbon with a 32t."
Er schreibt, dass das 30er Blatt für Carbon und Alu passt. Der geringe Abstand der Kette zur Strebe soll (angeblich) so sein. Ich habe das neue Fuel noch nicht live gesehen. Bis dahin behalte ich mir eine gewisse Skepsis vor. Meine Begeisterung ist allerdings schon leicht gedämpft.
Beim Wechsel von 2x11 auf 1x12 fände ich die Option eines 30er Blatts schon ganz gut.

Gibt es jemand der es mal mit einem 28er Kettenblatt versucht hat ?
In diesem Manual unter Punkt 9. ist´s wohl als passabel angepriesen.
