fat chance yo eddy with disk brake mount?

Hello
Like some kind of ghost story I've heard that towards the end of FAT CITYS days they produced a limited number of disk brake equipped yo eddys & an even lesser number of fat chance titaniums. Ok, so I accept that by this time they were built by serrotta. If anyone has any information or pictures of these disk brake equipped frames I'd be very interested to know more!

If anyone has such a disk brake equipped yo eddy (18-19in) for sale I would be very interested!

As Chris Chance had regained ownership of Fat City in 199? (them Germans should be able to help you out here) the last Yo Eddy's were definitely not Serotta-built. Late 2000 I was on Fat City's mailing list and I received a mail in which Fat City announced closing its doors. A list with stock bikes was attached and on that list figured some disk-only Yo Eddy's. I was especially interested in a cherry red frame that eventually I did not buy.
You must realize that hell will break loose on you if you seriously consider purchasing a such frame. The ayatollah's of good taste do not accept deviant bike behaviour and certainly not when icons of bike history are involved. Be aware!

I didnt realise that FAT were actually building bikes after they split with serrotta, espically as they lost most of their own frame building staff who went on to form Independant Fabrication. Thats good to know.

As for the "The ayatollah's of good taste", well I dont care!
I already have two fat chances, I really need a replacement main use frame for serious miles. I'm glad there are people so passionate about bike they'll only ride john parker era yetis (for example). As an obsessive cyclist, I like other obsessive cyclists!

Although its nice to have pristeen collectors style bikes, I also ride a lot & I wouldnt want to wreck a collectors bike! so I'm not so bothered about having an 01 intense tracer, a 97 klein pulse(commuter bike) & an 03 arc that I do the majority of my weekly miles on! There I said it!

Anyway, if anyone has any information or pictures, please let me know!

I really think it is not a problem - I mean everybody knows those frames are newer and so they are just another YoEddy! ... it would be a totally different scenario if you take an old frame and weld disk-bosses on it ... !
Now that means war!

If I cant find a disk ready Yo, will try & find the newest built med size yo I can, rustproof it on a regular basis & live to accept a non existant winter back brake

tom, do you have any close up pictures? Is that a haynes disk mount? Most disk braze ons are usually on the outside of the seatstays. Is the one pictured attached to the chainstay?

there is a pic from a man in USA who sold me (six months ago) a Ti fat. This bike with disc mount was his another Fat. I asked him many weeks ago, but he wouldn`t sell the frame.Sorry! I can`t you give any questions, there isn`t my bike and i have only this pic!

as far as i know there has been only 1 ti fat with disc mounts. i can remember this was for sale on mtbr earlier this year - but i´m not sure for 100%. there have been some yo eddy´s with disc mounts, don´t know how many.
