Fox Float DPS Factory Remote 2018 mit CTD Remote nachrüsten.

Hallo,

Kann ich bei einem Fox Float DPS Factory Remote Dämpfer und der Fox 32 Float SC Factory 100 FIT4 Remote Gabel 2017 den 2 Position Hebel gegen einen CTD oder ähnlichem Hebel austauschen, um eine Stellung zwischen offen und geschlossen zu bekommen?

Habe selbst etwas dazu gefunden. Es sollte funktionieren.



3pos Remote Lever Installation Information

Step 1
To install a 3pos Remote lever on a GRIP or FIT4 damper or FLOAT DPS or FLOAT X shock, install the remote lever onto your handlebar. Do not exceed 15 in.-lb (1.7 Nm) torque. Less torque may be needed for carbon bars. Please see bar manufacturer's instructions for use with carbon bars. Make sure to check for clearance between the remote lever and any brake or shifter controls.

The 3pos remote lever has a built in barrel adjuster an does not require an inline barrel adjuster.

For Forks: Install a ferrule on the remote lever end of your cable housing, the fork topcap end does not require a ferrule.

For Rear Shocks: Install ferrules on both ends of the cable housing.

Step 2
For GRIP dampers: Set the remote lever to Firm mode by pushing the silver actuation lever down to it's lowest position, then go to step 6 of the GRIP Remote Installation »

For FIT4 dampers: Set the remote lever to Open mode by pushing the black release lever, then go to step 6 of the FIT4 Remote Installation »

For FLOAT DPS and FLOAT X rear shocks: Set the remote lever to Open mode by pushing the black release lever, then go to step 5 of the FLOAT DPS and FLOAT X Remote Installation »

Ich behalte das Teil im Auge. Mein Orbea Oiz kommt leider erst Ende Dezember. Der Hebel würde mir schon besser gefallen, als der original 3er Fox und sieht auch nicht so billig aus, wie der normale 2 Position Hebel.

@Resident hast du das Oiz mittlerweile auf 3 Position umgebaut. Ich liebäugel mit dem neuen Oiz aber 3 Position Mod wäre schon sehr nice.

@Pinguix laut bike-components als ich den bestellen wollte hats geheißen sei nur für fit4 mit 3 pos Lockout ...ich bleib aber dran vlt. muss ich mal bei fox anrufen da werd ich aber wahrscheinlich keine Auskunft bekommen da die ihren beschissenen lockout verkaufen wollen..

@Pinguix nach Rücksprache mit Scott geht es nicht.....nach Rücksprache mit FOX geht es so teilweise..heißt sie der twinloc funktioniert nur eingeschränkt du kannst den twinloc auf jeden fall für die 2pos lockout gabeln nehmen...weil du die durch die fit4 Kartusche dann sogar in der Mittelstellung also trail Stellung fahren könntest...beim Dämpfer siehts bissel anders aus da wird es so sein dass der firm modus nicht ganz vorhanden sein wird ...sondern du dann immer den Dämpfer in der trail Stellung hättest also nicht ganz zu unterschied sei aber minimal..... laut fox am Telefon not gedrungener Maßen sogar schon selber so gefahren...

Ok danke schon mal! Schade gerade der Dämpfer wäre ja das Eigentliche plus!
Evtl. geht es ja dann mit dem original 3 Pos Fox Remote. Muss ich mir mal beim örtlichen anschauen sobald die ein OIZ vor Ort haben.

Hey zusammen also wär einen 2 Pos remote sucht für fox 2Pos kann ich nur den neuen Rock Shox TwistLoc empfehlen.
Hab ich an meinem Santa Cruz Blur vor 2 Wochen probiert und funktioniert seit dem tadellos!

@Deihlos Das gleiche habe ich auch vor. Das heißt der fox 2pos und der Rock Shox Twistloc ziehen beide 10 mm?

ich kann dir nicht genau sagen wieviel mm es bei Fox ist.
Auf jeden fall funktioniert das ganze super. Kann es nur empfehlen!

Also die Gabel ist hart wie ein Brett...gibt absolut nicht mehr nach.
Bin kurze Zeit den Remote von Fox gefahren...merke kein Unterschied!

ich wollte mal nachfragen ob der Umbau auf einen 3-Pos. Remote funktioniert hat?
Bin nämlich aktuell am Überlegen, falls es funktioniert, auch die dritte Position zu nutzen. Gabel kann ich ja umbauen, aber für den Factory DPS 2-Pos. Remote finde ich nichts. Und im Aftermarket gibt es aber auch keinen 3-Pos. Remote Dämpfer.

Die FOX Hebel ziehen nach meiner eigenen Messung 10mm Zug ein...
