Position Summary:

As an IT Systems Administrator (m/f/d) you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the IT infrastructure for both our new production site & sales unit.

Building a reliable system as well as helping users with day to day issues are both familiar to you. You will be part of the EMEA IT Team sitting in our HQ in Mainz, acting IT business partner to serve our markets the best way possible.

You will handle the company’s IT infrastructure for the whole European team working with colleagues in Germany, France, UK and the USA.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • You support organizational effectiveness by defining, deploying and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure
  • You provide support for our colleagues here in Mainz and other European offices regarding Hardware and Software issues
  • You work on upgrading and improving the company’s IT infrastructure
  • You maintain access control measures such as account and permission management, both in means of Infrastructure and our ERP System
  • You manage licenses for client Software and Cloud products

Competencies and Requirements:

  • You have a degree with a focus on IT or comparable qualification
  • You have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a strong affinity for IT related topics
  • You have a good understanding of Windows Client operating systems and how to integrate them in Microsoft’s Azure AD
  • You are experienced in System and Network Administration and have a firm grasp of concepts such Identity and Role Management, Networking Protocols and Client/Server Management
  • You have basic knowledge of programming, preferably in C# and JavaScript
  • You are a team player with the ability to work independently when needed. You have a desire to learn and develop new skills
  • You know that IT is the backbone of the company
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English
