As the Outside Sales Representative, you will work to create strong relations with retailers in your territory and drive sales growth within Bavaria and strive to reach the company annual targets. This position is a key driver in developing your respective sales region by consulting and supporting our IBD partners and acquisitioning the right future business partners. Besides the sales related tasks you will be also supporting the retailers with in store education, events and in store merchandising. You will represent multiple brands within Pon Bike Performance including Santa Cruz, Cervelo and Reserve. This role requires a large amount of travel to visit selected dealers within the region and to create relationships with key contacts in the industry.

We are looking for someone who has experience in wholesale sales in the cycling industry or in the outdoor industry and who is a passionate rider. You will need to be an expert communicator as you will be working remotely and working as part of a larger team that is highly collaborative.



Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage sales growth for multiple dealer accounts within your territory
  • Act as the point of contact for dealers within your territory via email and phone
  • Develop and maintain your sales territory to grow our brands and protect our brand values
  • Distribute brand information in your territory, educate dealers in regards to changes and new products
  • Visit dealers in your territory to create and maintain a partnership and get to know their bike shop and key staff
  • Work with the Demo Coordinator to determine best use of demo team in region and execute smaller retailer events on your own
  • Update dealer information for multiple brand websites in your territory
  • Assist with Dealer Events and Showroom activities as required
  • Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Brand Reps and Marketing Operations



Competencies and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in an outside sales representative role in the cycling industry or in the outdoor industry
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely with dealers and end-consumers
  • Highly skilled in ERP software, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, B2B and CRM software
  • Extensive knowledge of bicycles and all associated parts
  • Wholesale sales experience
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to self-manage time and schedule
  • Highly organized and able to track updates with retailers and communicate them to the German Market Leader
  • Ability to develop professional and reliable relationships with retailers
  • Must have a current Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time
  • Ability to give presentations and demonstrations of multiple brand products
  • Ability to work professionally and collaborate with coworker
  • Ability to problem solve and move quickly to solve any issues that may come up
  • Fluent in German and very good English
