The (static) geometry will remain, and dynamic geometry depends on the spring you ride. The only change that will come is more travel in the rear - but you may use this to soften the rear suspension. Then SAG will increase, head angle as well as seat angle will slacken and the BB will be slightly lower. Reach will also become a little shorter.I will go for coil with jadeX
230x57.5
or 230x60?
geometry will change a lot with 230x60?or not?
thanks in advance!
will have problem with bottom outs or not?because I read people afraid of that situation and go with full cascade link patent! The (static) geometry will remain, and dynamic geometry depends on the spring you ride. I think the rear sus kinematic of the MT is progressive enough for coil (as it is designed to work with coil shocks in stock). So you will not need a cascade link or progressive spring, but as I run a Topaz air shock, can't tell you from experience. If you still have the wish to try one or both of them, feel free.will have problem with bottom outs or not?because I read people afraid of that situation and go with full cascade link patent!
I understand what you said and your are amazing with your post thanks a lot buddy!
maybe first will go with stock sizing and if I bought the cascade link just change the spring clip this is so cool in dvo shocks!
Im thinking to go with proggressive coil
dvo said to me in mails have to choose 525/610 for my megatower and my 90kilos full equipped!

But a coil shock bottom-out is not the problem as far as the rear sus is not forced to move beyond the travel. 60mm travel of a shock is possible on size LARGE without any hardware problem.
Just try/measure out, but I guess that 60mm shocks will work on medium size, too!I have medium size frame!
I see racing fast guys runs progressive coils rear in MT and works nice....
Topaz had it in my previous frame Canfield bikes Riot 3 years serious shock and very good suspension but I want coil for my mega
Das wäre mal was.
By the way: Das Pistazie ist ne geile Farbe. Das MT hätte diese Farbe verdient gehabt.
