Supports global mountain bike product launches and in-market brand messaging by obtaining and maintaining trusted relationships with European mountain bike media. Works to creatively and consistently keep SRAM MTB, RockShox and ZIPP MTB products and messages top of mind with end consumers and customers in the media.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with all Northern European mountain bike media, including the distribution of messages regarding product launches, brand communications and in response to inquiries.
• Forecast, develop and implement seeding lists for product launches to media in Northern Europe.
• Act as a credible, deeply knowledgeable source of information for all SRAM MTB, RockShox and ZIPP MTB products.
• Own and implement internal communications plans in consultation with internal stakeholders including events, ambassador, product and brand communications.
• Provide on-site support and brand representation at media launches and consumer events.
• Track, calculate and build media reports in an effort to measure ROI.
• Propose, forecast and plan advertising placements in regional media.

EDUCATION / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or background in journalism or communications as a public relations professional or agency representative.
• Post-secondary education. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Extensive understanding of the mountain bike media landscape with a demonstrated proficiency in mountain bike products.
• Ability to ride advanced mountain bike trails.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, including weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and German.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
