So this might be sold for the right price. Reason: I have to sell all my bikes to buy a bike I have wanted for years. So if this sells the Yeti, Mantis, Punisher will probably have to go as well. Or at least minimum 2 of the 3.

This is Potts #009.

1981 Steve Potts #009. Mark Slates personal bike. Potts made the frame. Cunningham made the crown for the type I and Potts made the legs. Fork also has a Cunningham / Potts decal. Wheels and bike personally built by Mark Slate. Pre WTB. All original except for tires and tubes. It has paint scuffs, but no dings. Mark built the 10 first Potts bikes.

Mark´s brother Larry rode it in repack in 1983 and finished 6th place.

Needless to say, this opportunity won't come up often and I am not sure if you could get any better provenance for a early potts.

It's a well known bike for Potts collectors in the US and the guy I bought it of is a well known guy and Mark´s earlier neighbour.

Price is: 6500EUR + shipping. Norway is not part of the EU, but I might be able to meet you in Denmark for instance for personal delivery. But this would of course be if the sale is made beforehand. Not to kick tires since it will take me one day each way.

I have to take some measurements, but even though the bike looks big, it's not. This was a time where you had to use a lot of road bike equipment so the seat posts where short. I am 178cm and uses it as it stands in the pics. It is a very sweet cruiser.

The bike is the second to the right in the last pic.

My first guess Cunningham. On the other hand I can not figure out a bike over 7000€ besides the guess from @evisu

Koski Trailmaster, certain Klein Adroits, a Yeti or two (C26 at least), Breezer 1&2, IRD, maybe a Salsa or 2, CBR cruiser, Sweetheart Cycles Moto Cruiser, certain Bradbury Manitous, Fat City Cycles 1st year, probably some WTB and Ritcheys as well. There are a lot of bikes that goes (or at least could go, into that category.
