Same here when I was setting up tubeless on Newmen Performance with Magic Mary. There was no pop when the tyres seated on the rim, but the distribution was even and no air was escaping from the tyre/rim interface.
As a sidenote, after inflating the tyres without the milk, I always submerge the wheel one section at a time to check if any air bubbles are escaping, and where they are escaping from. In my experience, it has never been the tyre/rim interface, but rather the spoke holes and/or the area around the valve. This usually indicates that the tape is leaking and it's best to reapply it and redo the process before adding milk.
there is only one solution! More sealent it solves everything
