Iam in the same predicament........Iam 187cm with a 83 inside leg..........Iam undecided if to get a large or XL........has anyone rode both sizes?....does the XL feel alot longer than the large?
Your inside leg (
"XL" had a little more space to the handlebar) goes on both without a prob, the 1,87 is more important (torso + arm length).
Choose "L" if you like compact position ,terrain or your prefer needs more playfull bike than a weapon for long ride + play.
and if you schoulder the bike often.
Choose "XL" when you like 50 / 50 play and long ride machine with a little more comfort in riding position and smooth
handling at higher speed. Don´t think
"L" is not suitable to get fast and save but
"XL" has here the advantage where the smaller one has the advantage on handling.
Notice
"XL" looks and feels bigger when you standing close to the bike but when you riding you can forget that detriment.
You will not look like child on a monster, i check this everytime passing shopping windows
"XL" stills a compact bike.
Dont forget to talk with them about spacers under the handlebar to make the right decision for seat handlebar relations.
