Deine Tätigkeiten umfassen:

  • You assess and conclude benchmark-, competitor and supplier products (components and bikes) and explicitly transfer these findings into actionable solutions
  • You are a substantial part of our Product core teams and contribute with your expertise valuable input at every stage of the development process
  • In close collaboration with our R+D workshops you are in charge of the prototyping process, from first assembly to long term testing, as well as the documentation and reporting of all findings and conclusions
  • Your professional riding level allows you to test and assess the riding performance of our new projects (kinematics, handling, geometry, suspension tune)
  • Design-for-service as well as design-for-assembly optimization is one of your core focus points to assure our products meet the needs of our loyal retailers and consumers at every stage of the product’s lifecycle. You conclude this through permanent exchange and continuous improvement measures together with our Service and Quality team
  • You support our manufacturing units with the sample assembly process
  • You support our Product Management Team and Workshops with annual sample builds


Das bringst Du mit:

  • Minimum 10+ years work experience as a bicycle mechanic in a retail environment, with thorough bicycle knowledge across all categories, materials, components and systems (E-Bike, Non-E-Bike)
  • Several years work experience in a comparable position within the cycling industry is desired (R+D bicycle mechanic)
  • Superior (professional) riding skills and experience mandatory. Race background is an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of the cycling market, product offers up to the detailed spec level and innovation level needed
  • Fluent English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high agile and fast changing environment
  • Willingness to travel (min. 60%) and flexibility in working at different locations with focus on our HQs in Sennfeld and Waldsassen (partly France, Dijon and Nice)
  • Team player with great communication skills
