Internship at Five Ten – The Brand of the Brave
You want to practice what you’ve learned? You want to experience hands-on what your dream job is like? Are you an outdoor sports lover who’s ready to work in an international environment and take responsibility for your own projects? Welcome to Five Ten!
Five Ten – the Brand of the Brave – is looking for a talented and highly motivated marketing intern. The intern supports the European marketing team in daily business. Focus will be on planning and executing Five Ten’s event activations in Europe and Germany such as trade shows, festivals and product presentations during the summer season. Furthermore the intern will support the marketing department in various organizational tasks.
Your Tasks
· Support execution of the European marketing activities with focus on key markets & major marketing disciplines
· Work with Five Ten marketing team and support their brand & event marketing activities in key European markets
· Support preparation and presentation of Five Ten at European trade shows (OutDoor, EuroBike)
· Coordinating and execution of Five Ten sponsored outdoor and bike events
· Support key athlete, media and retailer product seeding initiatives
· Maintain internal address database of European media, athlete and retailer contacts
· Support marketing administration
· Prepare and analyze marketing & Sales reports
Your Profile
· First practical experiences in marketing, event & project management
· Organized, efficient and structured way of working
· Ability to work independently and on own initiative
· Enthusiastic and hard working
· Outdoor sports enthusiast, especially for mountain biking and climbing
· Effective oral and written communication skills
· Travel required up to approximately 20%
Education / Minimum Qualifications:
· Academic studies or apprenticeship in marketing and communication
· Enrolled as fulltime student for the whole duration of the internship
· Or in the so called gap year between Bachelor and Master (only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations!)
· Fluency in written & spoken English (German or other European language a plus)
· Computer-literate (especially Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office Programs)
Duration: 6 months starting April 2016
Location: adidas Group Headquarters in Herzogenaurach (near Nuremberg), Germany
