Okay, thank you very much. I don't feel like experimenting, so I'll probably go with the M9125 crank. Something creaks when I pedal, and I've checked everything except the bottom bracket and the crank. By the way, the new shock/fork, the 2024 model, fits very well, so thanks again for the advice.

Thanks for the information. That's very helpful. I suppose I could also use the setup you described, just with the new SHIMANO XTR FC-M9200 crankset, right? It also has a 55mm chainline and uses the same bottom bracket.

Aber kannst du die Achse nicht von beiden Seiten festziehen? Jeweils mit einem 6er Imbus? Zumindest von der Non Drive Side ist es dann doch ein Rechtsgewinde?
