For sale a very nice Bontrager composite fork with chromed legs

Steerer tube : 1" x 140mm length

Overall condition is very good as shown on the photos

New funds needed for future projects during winter time then ( sadly ) I decided to let it go to a new good home

I have some longer steerer tube that are suitable for the Bontrager fork,
if you have a preselected / preferred length let me know and I will check from my side
no problem at all

I measured it up, the longest steerer I own is 270mm long. I think a little less is also ok.

270mm is very long ( I suppose it's a " no threaded " steerer tube )

@agentKlein : Wenn der Pace Schaft durchgehend 1 Zoll hat und und unten die Phase für den Klemmring, dann geht das. Der Konsussitz muss ebenfalls übernommen werden.
In meiner Composite war ein Reynolds Schaft der gegen einen längeren von Columbus ausgetauscht wurde. Den hat mir @Edelziege damals besorgt.

@agentKlein : Wenn der Pace Schaft durchgehend 1 Zoll hat und und unten die Phase für den Klemmring, dann geht das. Der Konsussitz muss ebenfalls übernommen werden.
In meiner Composite war ein Reynolds Schaft der gegen einen längeren von Columbus ausgetauscht wurde. Den hat mir @Edelziege damals besorgt.

after a first check the longest steerer available from my side is 175mm
I have a couple of additional 1" steerer tubes but all of them have shorter tube length ...

thanks for checking your steerers. Well, is it possible to buy this fork with a nice 175mm steerer? Is (one of) the steerer(s) an original one or did they come from different manufacturers? I will buy the fork. My next project is hungry for such a fork......its horrible, but my wife helps me to survive
