hello falco
i have decided to purchase a helius st but have some questions before i place the final order.
1. what size should i order? would the XL be big enough for me. i am 203cm tall. i am going to build it up with a granny ring and single crown forks. i will be pedaling it around aswell as dh,freeride. would you reccomend a custom sized frame? if so what would you reccomend?
2. what are the head angle/ seat angle/bb height when run in the 6",7" travel settings?
3. what sort of weight do you think would be the lightest possible for a helius ST with out sacrificing strength?
4. are there any alterations planned for the 2006 helius ST?

any other advice would be grarefully recieved.
thanks
les

Hallo les,

just in case you start wondering why falco isn't writing back. He is on
holiday until 14th August. So I afraid you need to keep your patience.
It's hard I know :-)) But an Helius ST is worth waiting :-))

Hi Less,

we recommend a custom frame. XL might be too small.
The fore shock mount is adjustable. So head angle, seat angle and BB height don't depend inevitably on the rear travel setting. It is not possible to get a Helius ST with a lighter tubeset. We would recommend a Helius FR instead. If you want to reduce the travel anyway and use it for tours it might be the better choise anyway. The 2006 Helius ST geometry will be slightly modified, regarding to the current 200 mm forks, which have become shorter.

Important: Please keep the contact with our UK distributor Mike Faxholm. He has allready advised you referring to these questions. Please do not appeal to our Canadian distributor Angelo Zalewich too.

Regards, Falco
