Looking for mountain riding partners

Hi,

I'm a Scottish guy now living in Munich and looking for some local riders to hook up with and do some riding. I am interested in mid-week Tegernsee & Bad Tölz area evening rides together with longer mountain loops at the weekend. I am fit, enjoy the uphill pain and technical single track descents. I treat the riding seriously but I'm up for a laugh and enjoy the hütte beer stops PM me or reply here if interested. (My Deutsch aint that good...)

we meet every thursday 7pm at the zoo (entrance) for riding the isar trials. If you are interested join us.

Mostly we take a ride for two hours and if it works out we have a beer afterwards.

We normally go for a ride in the Tegernsee or Chiemsee area. Tomorrow (if the weather is acceptable) we will have a ride near Eschenlohe, which is near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. OK, that is not the area, which you asked for.

Of course we write in German. Do you understand German to understand where we will go and when we will meet?

i'm an American also in Munich.

you should check out M97 which is the mountianbike group of the Munich section of the DAV (German Alpine club).

we have "After Work Biking" every wednesday night on the Isar trails. we meet at 18:30 on the southeast corner of the Thalkirchnerbrücke - near the Zoo. we have 2-4 groups and ride about 2-3 hourse. i lead the "Trails" group. from your description you would probably enjoy riding with my group.
