"Lund 2011 - celebrating biking and humanity" ist ein Bikeevent in Lund, Südschweden, der von einer Gruppe unabhängiger Studenten organisiert wird und aus einer Alleycat (diesen Rennen, die eine Art Schnitzeljagd durch die Stadt sind; in Ihrer Reinform/Urform Fahrradbotenrennen mit teilweise komplexen Mustern an Checkpoints, die der Arbeit eines Fahrradboten nachempfunden ist; in diesem Fall solls aber mehr um den Spaß an der Sache gehen!) und einem ausgiebiges Picknick mit Siegerehrung und Preisverlosung im Zielgelände im Zielgelände besteht.

Als Charity Veranstaltung zielt der Event darauf ab, Spenden für den Verein "Fahrräder für Afrika" für deren Entwicklungshilfeprojekt zu sammeln. Nuts hat vor einiger Zeit hier darüber berichtet: http://www.mtb-news.de/news/2011/03/04/bikes-fur-afrika-nachhaltige-spendenaktion/

Freu mich schon auf den Sonntag, wird denke ich ein außergewöhnlicher Event. Letztlich soll es ein Freudentag für Fahrradfahren und Fahrradkultur, Menschlichkeit und Respekt sein. :)

Ich dachte, vielleicht hat ja sogar jemand von euch Zeit vorbeizuschaun. :) Und ansonsten gibt es wohl einige, die die Fortschritte und den Ausgang gerne mitverfolgen.
