ich bin gerade bei meiner Freundin, und die hat ein paar Probleme mit ihrem Rechner. (Deswegen surfe ich auch um 23 Uhr im Internet. Grrrrrrrrrrr

Ihr Rechner: 'nen Medion Laptop, Pentium4, 600 Megahertzchen, Windows ME ( ), 64 MB Ram. Bis vor kurzem hat sie Zonealarm laufen gehabt. Da ZA haeufiger mal rumgesponnen hat, hat sie ZA deinstalliert und stattdessen die Kerio-PF 2.1.5 installiert. (Nein, ich möchte an dieser Stelle keine Diskussion über den Sinn einer PF entfachen.) Nun haben wir das Problem, dass das Surfen nicht mehr so einfach möglich ist. Häufigst erscheint eine Seite im Browser, die so ziemlich genau das sagt:
diese seite ist mit "zone labs: vsmon - lockup server" überschrieben.
Das lustige ist, dass die Links, die auf dieser Seite sind, relative Links sind. d.h. wenn ich web.de besuchen will, steht zwar web.de in der adesszeile, diese lustige seite wird angezeigt, und alle links verweisen dann nach web.de/download, web.de/support, usw. wenn ich mtb-news.de besuchen will, lauten die links mtb-news.de/download usw.
Nachdem ich alle "persönlichen Daten" gelöscht habe (Opera), kann ich wieder kurzzeitig surfen.
Ich habe nach der deinstallation eigentlich saemtliche überreste von zonealarm entfernt. die reg ist eigentlich auch von den ZA-Überresten gesäubert, von vsmon.exe finde ich auch keine spur mehr auf dem rechner.
hat irgendwer einen (praktikablen !!!!!) lösungsvorschlag?

How long will it take to restore my access?
This will take between 5 and 15 minutes.
Instructions to restore Internet access:
Begin by locating the product you are running from the links below and installing it over your existing product. This is a special version of the product that will help you restore your Internet access.

Once the product is installed, go to the Overview Panel, locate the Preferences tab and uncheck "load ZoneAlarm (Pro/Plus) at start-
up" as shown in figure 1 below.
Reboot your computer. (To do this, locate the Windows Start menu in the system tray, select Shut down, select Restart from the drop- down menu and then click OK.)
In the Window's Start menu, select Programs, then Zone Labs, and then select "uninstall ZoneAlarm (Pro/Plus)." When the uninstall is complete, reboot your computer (see step 3 above).
You should now have Internet access. (If you do not, click here.) To restore your security, install the latest version of your product by clicking the correct link below:
