Are you sure to take this Batteryholder?
Once i was loading any Batteries in a similar holder.
The springs has been so very hot that the holder has been damaged.

This is not the only disadvantage of these types of battery-holders, i also use one of them (6er) for my prototype-lamp. i only drive in the city, but there i have problems with the contacts -> the leds flickers at every bigger bumb (bodenwelle). but it need some time until this phenomenon happens, an new holder will work some weeks.

i think he is charging the akkus outside of the holder in a normal charger. ?

Hallo, Yes, this is the holder I use. I don't have any problem with this holder. For hold the batteries, I use a tape of velcro around the batteries.


SektSchlampe I charge the batteries outside the holder with normal charger of AA type.

yesterday i build my second "Nr.5". Both lamps work with luxeon K2 (2x S00@500mA and 2x P00@1000mA) . the last days it rained in berlin so that the street reflect all the light,so i thought my lamps were off
Only using mobdar optics isnt good at all.

I will try to make some pictures from the "nr.5's" and from the beamshots. (it would be difficult to do that without an own digi-cam)

Your are right, with wet ground the light is not seen

Fragen zum rad beantworte ich gern.

Das beamshot bild täuscht sehr, das ganze bild gehört dunkler, man kann aber ganz gut den lichkegel erkennen.

ich weiß nur das iso400 eingestellt ist. keine helligkeitsanhebung.


Es sieht nicht danach aus als würde ich in naher zukunft anstängie digitale beamshots machen können, ich kann mal mit einer spiegelreflex probieren ob ich vernünftige fotos hinbekomme.

This is the cateyeholder H-24/H-27 and i bought it in berlin at "zweirad-stadler". i couldn't remeber how much i payed, under 5€.

The PCB is already isolated and the K2 is also isolated.

But this PCB has a disadvantage, if you try to solder for the third or fourth time the conducting path gets of the ground, so that this PCB is useles.

Yes, the PCB is not homemade. i only cut one piece out of it.

On the pictures can you see the older ones, now the shop sells a slighty different, but also useable one.

I dont really see the reason why to use this cutouts of the 3-emitter board (except for burning down money). ??
That way there is just another unnecessary border for heat management (which is important, especially with heaters like the K2).

Why not mount the emitter directly to the sink, especially if the K2 is electrically isolated (which I would not bet on).

bevor wer fragt: Wärmeleitpaste, Emitter andrücken und einrichten, mit Epoxy ankleben, dabei gleich ein wenig Epoxy unter die Kontakte fließen lassen. Nachm Aushärten ganz normal anlöten

Da hab ich wohl nicht überlegt bevor ich meine Lampen gebaut habe . Bei meiner Version mit 28mm Kupferendkappen sind die 1,5mm Dicke der Kühlplatine sogar notwendig um die led im richtigen Abstand zu montieren. Ich habe diese Methode dann einfach bei den späteren Modellen fortgeführt. Mir gings wahrscheinlich darum die Kontakte vor dem Abbrechen zu schützen.

Ich hab mich heut mal mit digicam bewaffnet und bin raus auf die straße und hab ein bild gemacht:

Ich hatte mir katzenaugen hingelegt um bestimmte entfernungen zu markieren (stehen in lila daneben) hab per software die katzenaugen nochmal markiert.

Von der helligkeit des himmel könnte es in etwa so hinkommen, vielleicht ein mü dunkler. in berlin wirds leider net dunkler und bock zum see zu fahren hatte ich heut auch net mehr, wenn ich ne bessere digicam habe dann mach ich bilder gelände und im stadtverkehr.

Als lampen kamen 4K2's zum einsatz (2mal S00@500mA und 2xP00@1000mA)
alle mit mobdar. die S00 sind für den entfernteren lichkegel zuständig. sie leuchten um einiges gelber als P00. wenn ich die P00 auf den punkt der S00 ausrichte, dann ist da nicht so schön ausgeleuchtet. mal gucken was bei rauskommt, wenn ich die S00 bei 1000mA fahre.

blitz aus
keine überbelichtung
belichtungszeit unbekannt
