Sorry, but you're wrong. The bearings you linked are only for bottom eyelets, and that's not what we have here (they are even too big to be able to be screwed into the top eyelet) The only bike i've seen IRL with this top mount was a buddy's fairly recent Simplon Rapcon.

I know the owner of GT2 personally, he's been in the overstock game since the early 90s ;)
