Hallo,

Thinning down my collection a bit more. Next to go is my 21.5” 1991 Bridgestone MB-Zip/0.

The bike is in really great condition. There are no dents or dings, and has never been crashed with. There are a few paint chips that have been touched up (one larger chip on the top tube, the rest are pretty small). Bought from original owner who never used it off road, only on asphalt.

Original parts and spec (Suntour XC Pro, Mavic etc.), except for: left crank arm is Shimano Deore (should be Mavic), saddle is a brown Turbo (original was a tusk coloured Turbo) and the tyres.

Price: 640 EUR + shipping (40 EUR, insured and traceable) - SOLD!

Hmm, I´m 2,03 m tall, so the frame is a bit to small for me... How long is the seatpost, please and what brand is it? Could you please measure the rear dropouts: 130 or 135 mm? Thank you, Hans

What a lovely, clean bike !!! :daumen:
Looks like brought directly from the showroom-floor!
You got a time-machine over there in Sweden?

Good luck with your sale!

Cheers,

David

Thanks David :)

It's not actually quite in showroom -condition, but very nice nonetheless.

I did buy it from Sweden (I live in Finland), maybe the owner had access to a time machine? ;)

I had a look at that photobucket, now I`m worrying about the big spot of paint on the top of the top tube. How can I be sure there is only finest japanese steel and nothing else under the paint? Those thin-walled steel tubes are so sensible. The bike falls against the corner of the garage and - bang! there is a ding exactly in that place of the frame. A friend of mine experienced this with his Stumpjumper some 20 years ago. So, what can we do? I would prefer to see naked steel instead of paint! Regards from Blackwood Forest, Hans

I understand very well your concern, such a thing happens quite easily as you say, but there is no ding under the paint. Sending you a PM.

The seat post is 300 mm long (from where clamp fastens to the post to end of post) and the rear spacing should be 130 mm.

Did you receive my message btw?

Thanks, Jan
