Rare one of possibly eight made 1991 Carbonframes (Calfee) Onyx. These were some of the first bikes made by Craig Calfee before he started the Calfee brand. Originally commissioned by Greg Lemond for a team he was starting, these never went into production and each one is slightly different. This frame is in mint condition and features a Shimano XT build. Components are used but function perfectly and the bike works well overall. The only flaw is that one of the brake posts on the fork had been cut down for some reason. So when you tighten the bolt all the way down the brake seizes up. I've secured the bolt just short of full torque and applied loctite to keep it from coming off.
