Hi, I have a giant reign 2020 model with a rs sdu air 205x60 and the static bb height (ground to the middle of the crank hole) is about 342.5mm. Then i have installed rs vivid coil 205x60 and the static bb height went up about 347.5mm. Is this normal or am I missing something? I think that the coil is a 205x65 with a 5mm spacer and only if it compresses goes down to 60mm. But in a full extended position is a 65mm so I assume that the static bb height goes up.
What do you think? Thanks

The higher bb shouldn't be the case. The Total length of the extendet shock does not differ between 60mm and 65mm travel.
As you have written correctly: Both shocks are the same length of 205mm so the static bb hight shouldn't change.
Please measure the eye to eye length of the Vivid to confirm it is 205mm.
And also measure the eye to eye length of the air shock. Important: Please measure both shock length with installed spring/or air pressure.

Yes, both are 205mm, i measured it wrong by mistake. The static bottom height is the same. Thanks
