Awesome Project! I have also done some research on the way, trying to find out more Information about my FRO.

Indeed, there is some differing Information around, especially about the year, Yeti was founded. If you look into the 1995 catalogue you get the impression it was not until 1985, that John Parker sold his motorcylce, bought the company and some tools and tubing.

According to Yetifan this was already in 1984 but the whole website is not that accurate. Just look at the links to the catalogue.
