GPS-Date vs. Guide

Hallo,

mein Name ist Emil Petrk. Ich lebe in Prag. Meine Kollegen und ich arbeite an einem Webproject. Dazu frage ich nach Feedback von Bikern.

Wir planen eine Webplattform inclusive mobile App. Biker aber auch Fusgänger (Wandern, Nordic Walking, Sightseeing) können auf dieser Plattform Adventure Tours, Bike Tours, Sightseeing Tours und andere per GPS recorden.

Zusätzlich kann der User viele nützliche Informations aufzeichnen wie Infrastructure entlang der Tour als Point of Interst (Bike Shops, Service Stations, Restaurace...), detaillierte Tourenbeschreibung als Text & Foto auch zu POI erfassen und ein Routing-Date für Download erstellen. Das hilft bei schwierigen Kreuzungspunkten im Wald oder sagt Gefahrenstelle.

Ich brauche für Planung des Projects Information zu Bereitschaft von Biker zu Download von GPS-Date und Verlgeich zu Tour mit menschlichen Guide.

Ich nutze kostenlose GPS-Daten & Landkarte & orientiere mich damit sehr gut ohne Guide.

Hi buttzl,

thanks for your advice. I know komoot. But I think the komoot concept targets to another function ... komoot is more about real navigation.

What we are thinking about is a platform for rich gps tracks. It´s not only the pure gps track but a lot of useful information around the track f.e. POIs, a tour describing text with technical and conditional explanations, routing hints on tricky crossings etc.

Hope a lot of bikers will join the enquiry.

wenn es geht nutze ich schon einen Guide der kostet aber von weiten keine 100-200€, zahle immer so 10-15€

in der umfrage fehlt eigentlich noch die kategorie "ich fahr einfach drauf los" oder "mir eicht eine karte um biketouren zu fahren"
denn ob man es glaubt oder nicht es gibt wahrlich noch leute die ohne elektronischen helfer oder leithammel eine tour fahren !

Das werden scheints aber immer weniger, so wie manche Fragen gestellt werden (zB. Fred "Gardasee-Trails").

What I find extremely annoying when looking for (gps-)tracks, is the mixture of road-/cross-/mountainbike and/or hiking-tracks. Some people seem to think, that a track is good for every user - and a scale of difficulty or the quality of the scenery and POI is not worth mentioning. If in your project you come to manage this better, it might bew worth trying ...

Hi everyone, hello cxfahrer,

I´m really happy about joining so many people at our enquiry. To answer cxfahrer´s question: We are thinking about an online portal where everybody could register and work as an tour author. Of course we will work on creating tracks on our own too.

Depending on the quality of the track AND of the information around the track (evaluation of conditional und technical skills, POI, scenery, describing text etc.) the author could sell the track or give it away for free. We will manage the technical and marketing tasks and get a share of revenue.

Thats the idea. We calculate with only every 200st of the platform users will create high quality tracks. Those are the real track authors who enjoy doing some work on creating tracks including a lot of usefull information (not only for bikers but also wander and sightseeing tracks).

Hopefully our idea will work out and we will find gps enthusiastic user ;-)
