A few months ago I bought this Lightning in Belgium.
It is used a looooooot, look at those cranks! Never seen so much wear on cranks.
All the other parts were also very worm, but luckely the frame is in great shape! No chain suck, dents or big scratches.
First thing was stripping the all those worn parts and reveal the true beauty.
After a big fight with the stuck BB, giving up several times, I finaly succeeded last week.
This will be a period build with some newer touches like the wheelset and forks.
The stem and handlebars are just for now, I will source some Syncross period ones.
Quite happy with the results so far!
