The frame isn’t nos, but it’s superbly well maintained - near mint. Where you see my fingers is where some minor spots are.
The brake surface on the rims are typically for ceramics spotted but bears no marks of heavy use. All parts are in an excellent condition aKa Minty.
Manufactured in 1994 in Chehalis, came to Denmark around 1995. The shop where it was purchased and built back in 1997 didn’t take care when mounting the MC2 and you can see that.
I’m very critical when having a rare steed like this, so that does stick into my eyes. There’s no chain suck, the ccd plate isn’t mounted but I have it, except for the spacer, which is easily obtainable. And the spacer for the headset is typically for a Klein deteriorated and needs replacing - which is done easily.
The bearings in the headset and bb are buttery smooth,
I mean, this is eternal sunshine on a spotless bike which has barely been ridden.
