Hi, Please excuse me for posting in English. I just arrived here and I still must learn German. I really would like to meet some German riders and go for some rides in the local area. I've been keeping busy on the double track by my house in Erdorf (outside of Bitburg) but I would really like to find some single track and some people to ride with. I'd really like to try some of the races here also. Can anyone help me out?

Your English is MUCH better than my German. Thanks for the great info. That's really not too far away for me. I expected to drive a bit to meet some riders and really don't mind doing it on the weekends. I really don't mind driving as long as I have some other riders in the car. Anything in the Eifel region is great. Where are you?

If you wanna come to Andernach on the 2nd of July we could meet. I live here and I can tell you something about the races here. As a local I can say that this event is quite good.

But: It is a CTF! So the time will not be taken.

The race in Rhens is also pretty cool! 50 km is one lap...For the hard ones: You can go on it twice

Koblenz and its environment offers you many posiblities!

For me the 50km are enough. As I remember the last year, it was a very nice route

Also good is the Erbeskopfmarathon in July! 35 65 and 110 km (?) And a very very nice route!

Maria Laach is also a good spot to ride - It is not too far away from Andernach so we could ride there together, too. But a real "local" we be good then. I know some good single trails but not all of em.

Unfortunatly my bike is out of order at the moment. Because of a crash in the last race. But in Rhens I will be back And at the 10th in Zell/Mosel in the Finals of the Eifel-Mosel-Cup.

Would be cool to meet you for a ride to improve my spoken english
