Hi! I'm glad to meet you!
Entschuldigen Sie mich, aber ich spreche nicht Deutsches... :D
My last tuning here: http://mbf.forumfree.net/?t=5896675&st=0
ciao,
benvenuto al forum dei pazzi tedeschi! hai fatto un bel lavoro col tuo deragliatore - complimenti! ammetto che funziona come sempre, vero?

hi, nice work! i guess it is still doing its job perfectly, right?

Very interesting! Great Job!
I have exactly the same Derailleur and I will do the same now, thanks for the link to the pictures showing what you have taken off.

Seeing the handpiece, sandblaster and workbench, I gues you're either a dental technician or a goldsmith.

Do you have a Picture of your bike in full by chance?

Oh man! What a sweet ride! A real beauty!
I'm a dental technician myself, those handpieces are way superior than any Dremel.

Da muss doch was möglich sein.

Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden. :daumen:

Thanks. I'll post some pics if you want. ;)
I'm not interested to shave too much weight, I use my bike regularly and I hate broken or unusable components, I want only to ride.

Thanks for translating my post, Jochen!

My FD will be used every day! It is very important that it is working well all time ... and it will do! ;)

scapin, are the bolts made of steel changed on your FD?

Stefan

Remembering the weight of your FD I don´t believe that the bolts the rhomboid (parallelogram) is mounted with are made of Ti or Al. They are still made of steel, aren`t they?

Tomorrow is tuning time! I´m curious how much weight my FD will loose - the fat pig is about 128g now!

Yes they are made in steel but they aren't bolts, are wrist pins. How do you do to remove the two on the top?

...using a tool I like best: the angle grinder (flex). Having calm hands, this method works quite good.
...but don´t destoy your FD! ;)

no risk, no fun!
