The eternal question: Rigid or suspension fork?

I have a Trek Singletrack 970 ZX with either a:

The stock rigid System 2 fork

Or a Rock Shox Duke SL at -/+ 65mm

Should I keep the Duke on it? All ST970's are suspension ready since '96.

Only you can decide wether you need a suspension fork

If you want to ride the bike, keep the suspension. If you want to collect/show/pose the bike, get the rigid fork.

* For show, for tarmac, for weight --> rigid

* For all other purposes --> suspension...
