Slimming down my collection and would like to offer up this 1987 Yeti FRO. This is the earliest Yeti FRO ever built (#9 according to the serial number). It is a rare round top tube model with Simplex dropouts, it was without a doubt a team bike at one point. It was also used as a test bike by Yeti/Easton during the of the C-26 (you can see the remains of a strain gauge - tool for testing stress in a structure) underneath the down tube. I believe the bike was originally built for either Greg Dress or Rob Nielsen, but can't really confirm this. Also, it would seem as though it may have been used/raced/tested by Johnny O'Mara (see photo of him on nearly identically stickered bike from Mammoth Kamikaze). The frame was sold by the same guy who famously sold the first Tomac C-26 fork $12k several years ago.

The build it nearly exactly as it would be been raced back in the day. Cook Bros everything down to the hubs!!!! Bike is in great shape given it's age and history.

Asking $4100 for the complete bike shipped to Europe
