Wanted 1in Black C.King aheadset

Hi all
I'm after a 1in Black Chris.King aheadset, but in the older style without the "KING, KING, KING" text around each headset cup.

Buy a new model in one inch then you remove the black with the "King" and then you anodize the King in black.

Doesnt the headset need to be completely dissembled to get it re-anodised? seems like a lot of work? Has anyone else actually ever done this?

I think that there is a (little) chance that you get one without the logo direct from Chris King USA

I've mailed King & heard back this morning. They dont sell direct or do the older style non text style. The search continues I guess?
