Cornelius hat vor einiger Zeit auf mtbr.com mal etwas ausführlicher über die Dämpfung in seinen Gabeln geschrieben. Ich fand das damals hilfreich, auch zum Verständnis, wie man das als Unternehmer managed.

Hi at all,
we at Intend are reading this stuff with great interest.
First of all I am happy to read, that with our Optimized-configuration our damping is not any more perceived as "poor" or something similar, but "good", what is already a big step for us
the most interesting thing is, that between the (from some called poor) GreenAge-configuration to the Optimized-configuration there was no change in the hardware (only the bladder was added, which does only make a minor difference in everyday riding). But the shimstacks where changed.
but between the perception of "poor" and "good" is only a shimstack configuration, what (for me) leads to the fact that it is more about the marketing, not the real damping itself.
Now my aim is, to explain a few things, to give you insights in what we do and what maybe would be next step for some who wants to play around with our damping, what we always agree with and always support.
Our first compression setting was 1x 14x0,15 to 8 clamp. It was the simple sweet spot between to hard shimstack (we tried 14x0,2to8 before and this was fatiquing and of course also lighter and different stacks). It worked great, cannot say it in other words. Rulezman was ok with this but anyway wanted to plant the Mezzer cartridge (because he wants to earn some money as tuner...)
Then we changed to 14x0,1 + 12x0,15 + 12x,015 to 8, which has a soft initial damping to reduce spiking on the smaller hits, but harder smaller shims to give enough feedback. the good thing on this configuration was, for the comfort rider, that with open LSC it had the same dyno plots like the 14x0,15 before, so we could satisfy both the racers and the comfort riders. Rulezman said its bad configuration, he wants to have the old configuration again, he anyway planted the Mezzer cartridge inside for the RRT.
The problem with this configuration was, that it was fatiguing for some of the riders, not for short shoots like 200hm, but for 1 week in Finale, its hard when you do not want to open LSC completely. That is a big problem for racer guys, to have the LSC fully open as they feel themselfs as racers and need(want) feedback(=LSC more closed)... also for 500-700 hm on one ride, with LSC half way closed or 2/3 closed, it (can) be fatiguing.
So, for us, its always the fatique what is more important than the socalled "feedback" or what ever, because: its nice to have damping which is great for 200hm and race style, but its even worse to have a holiday trip to Finale for one week and you have pain in the arms after day 1. And trust me: all trips I made, Finale, Molini, Spain, San Romolo, everywhere, I am not the fastest rider, but on the end of they day I was the fastest because everybody else with their Öhlins forks, Fox forks, RS forks, Manitou forks, they need to stop and shake their hads after all 200hm. everybody. but not me. I overtook an Ex world cup racer in Molini (the E13 guy), i overtook Albi from the shuttle company. I NEVER would be faster then them, but on the 1000hm ride, they need to stop. I was just riding along...
So yeah, then we got to the Optimized damping, we changed now to 14x0,1 + 13x0,1 + 12x0,1 to 8, which is softer then the Green Age stack, to make sure that nobody suffers under fatique. And the best on the configuration was, that with LSC 1-5 clicks from closed, you had the same damping curve like Green-Age in half way open, what means that also the riders who wants to have some more feedback can be satisfied with it, running the LSC more on the closed half, compfort riders half to open.
This configuration is pretty similar to the 14x0,15 from past times, which Rulezman wanted to have back when we changed to GreenAge. Now, as we have this in a similar way again, Rulezman wants to have the GreenAge stack back, because the new configuration lacks damping and he needs more compression.
so far so good, some riders feel a lack of damping on our cartridge, but with the version with Greenage, what had this "more" of damping, it was poor.
it is a bit of a circle, which now closes again.
I do understand, that there are different riding styles, some guys are living in Finale, some in 200hm region, some are racers, some are comfort riders. Some people get simply get overchallenged when we would ask about Feedback-wishes, riding style, average hm in a row. They want to buy a fork, which is salted from the boss, not to need to salt they soup themself.
For everybody, who has the wish for tuning, we are a open book, just ask us!
We decided some time ago, not to offer different compression units with different shimstacks for 59 euro, like formula does (what is a great thing for sure), becase the only difference would be a different shimstack configuration for around 80 Cent, what in my eyes would be a parody to customers. But when we offer shimstacks for 5,90 euro, peole would say Intend is to complicated to tune. that is why we go the way with one stack offered.
but nevertheless, everybody can have different stacks IF he wants. feel free to contact us and we will make everything possible."
Auch an den letzten Satz denken. Aber wenn der Kunde nicht weiß, was er will, wird's eben schwierig. Und es wird nicht einfacher, wenn der Hersteller nicht weiß, was der Kunde mögen könnte.
