It's time to get a little more aluminum out - this 1989 Bradbury Manitou is a rocket, but not quite my thing.
It is newly renovated and ready for use. It has all the cool Bradbury parts: 145 / 115mm hub, rear brake bridge, stem (repro), suspension fork. In addition, it has IRD Progressive U-brake rear (can put on IRD Rotary if desired) plus the rest in a good mix of Specialized and Shimano.
It looks a little big, and so it is. Bradbury believed this was the optimal race geometry - sloping top tube, but high head tube. I am 182 and it is good for me, guess it can work for someone who is 190+ with a long IRD post.
The seat tube on this was reinforced by Doug Bradbury himself back in the day. Not sure why - maybe it was for a protective measure or it was cracked. No problem now whatsoever. This is one of very few Bradburys to have a press fit bb shell -with a 90mm width. Pretty cool!
No serial so it's hard to tell which year this was made. The details points towards cirka 1989, but could be 88 or 90 as well.
I'm looking for €5000 for this.
Payment is basically not a hurry, but everything in a manner
Price is including shipping from Norway.
