Okay guys, this is it.
A very very nice Sandvik 1994 Kona Hei Hei with reproduction 1991-1993 decals. It is a 17" as per engraved at the BB. It also comes with the original Kona Project 2 TITANGABEL.

The condition is superb superb. I am very careful this time because I made a mistake the last time about descriptions. I cannot find a deep scratch which I can feel with my finger. It is not new but as good as can be for a used frame/fork. It comes with a NOS purple Chris King headset. It has some marks from the headset tool. Hey, I used the correct Park Tool headset spanner but the marks still came. I think the anodising is not too good during that time for Chris King. Anyway, it looks awesome but I just want to be clear. I will be taking out the cranks and BB this weekend, so I can take pictures around that area this weekend as well.
I do not think I need to describe the fork further except that it is so rare, that many people still think it is just a myth. Before I got this fork, I have never even seen a picture online except for the online catalog! But gentlemen (and possibly ladies here?), let me assure you that this is a genuine real McCoy. The price for this fork alone was 900 English Pounds! Needless to say, it is extremely rare. I used to own another "Serotta" named titanium fork, and that was the ONLY other titanium unicrown fork I have ever seen. The rest are just 5-pc welded Morati, or XACDs.
It also comes with NOS Dia Compe 986 in purple of course. KoolStop Ceramic pads.
You might like to know that Joe Murray himself has this frame-fork as well. And no, he would not sell it. I already asked in 2000 before I acquired this.
I am looking for 1500 Euro for frame-fork-headset-cantis or close offers. But please, no silly offers. If you are looking at this, you know how rare it is.
There are 2 reasons why I am selling:
1. I want to buy another bike and I am waiting for an 18" anyway
2. Sorry but I got another Ti Project 2
Please send me questions, or if you need more pictures. If you are in Hamburg, feel free to drop my a line and we can meet up for a drink. You can then check out for yourself the weight (very light!) and the condition of the frame-fork. In fact, I would very much prefer if you could take a look at it yourself. It is extremely nice!
I am travelling today and tommorrow, so please be patient with late replies. If needed, I will also send you my handy number so we can talk on the phone as well.
Have a good week!
cheers, zeck
