Hallo Nicolai-Fans.
Ich habe mir heute für eine längere Zugfahrt die Jubiläums-Ausgabe (No. 100) der Dirt zugelegt: "The 100 people, places & things that matter". Sehr schönes Heft, selbst für Leute, die nicht unbedingt Listen lieben. Gut ausgewählt, abwechslungsreich und knackig geschrieben. Hut ab. Ich hab lange nicht mehr so viel Spaß beim Lesen eines Bike-mags gehabt. Und was lese ich auf S. 66 (Auszug):
"Karl Nicolai - In a world where so many products are almost clones of others it's massively refreshing to find a company as unique as Nicolai, and that quality comes as a direct result of the equally unique man behind the company [...] That excites me, because it just makes me think that if anyone is going to come up with some groundbreaking in this sport [...], it could well be Karl Nicolai."
Ed Haythornthwaite trifft in erfrischenden Worten, was auch für mich die Faszination der Marke ausmacht. Insofern, Glückwunsch zur Aufnahme in diese faszinierende Liste. Viel Spaß beim Lesen.
