Greetings from Norway

Hi everyone,
I'm a 42 year old norwegian male, very interested in cycling.
Now I'm considering purchasing a mountainbike / trekking bike with the Rohloff
Speedhub and OEM dropouts, possibly custom. So, Germany would be the place
to look, I guess.

I learnt some german in school many years ago, but unfortunately, I don't
think I could write correctly in german now. I am not sure what will be preferred
on this furum. Should I try to write in german, or is it OK to write in english?
Or I could do both, to increase the chance that others understand what I
am saying.

Yes, I live in a beautiful country. I would have prefered it to be varmer and
lighter in the winter, though, but you can't have it all.
I'm not familiar with Halden. What were you working with there?
There are nice rides in Oslo too, we have fine woodland here with gravel roads and single tracks.

Hei Sigurd,

there was no response in my pn, but it doesn´t matter. I have been working there on a design project in collaboration with Madshus. I´m sure you know this company ;-) We developed a ski boot. In my study there is one practical semester and so I decided to go abroad.
What are you working and spending your time on except biking?
