Re: Hardcore Fullsuspensions
What a coincidence! This is a Pic I allways use, if I try to explain friends of mine the Word "Technikkrüppel". And you are the owner of this.....mhhh beautifull mmhhh Bike.........

I see you werent riding avalanche ever... man you cant compare anything to its damping quality and overall performance. With that stuff you mentioned you would **** up the bike completely. I dont mind the weight its not the racing shit. Its built up to work best it can and make you feel nothing whatever you throw at it.

DHX air - buahahaha :D yeah try it on army... dorado suxx too. man with that kind of stuff it wont last few days of riding...

The whole bike is perfectly weighted, and the geometry is so superious that you can do street tricks on it, manuals, fakies and abu's are really not a problem. My friend is even pedal kickin this baby :) It weights 27kg but it really feels lighter due to this perfect weight alligment, it flies stable and can handle big dirt jumps!

27kg?! holy shit, dude. if this one where mine, it would be around 18kg. i would build it up more racing style. avalance is good, but pretty heavy. doubletracks, 3" gazzas? nobody needs this stuff. in my opinion you're one of the guy's, who would ride a supermonster, because you really need it...
"technikkrüppel" is the right name for this thing. well, it looks really hardcore...and the grimecas....no!
i would it build up like this:
karpiel armageddon + fox dhx air or dhx5.0, manitou dorado mrd x-works or fox40, king headset, headley hubs with dtswiss spokes and mavic ex729, syntace superforce stem , syntace vector dh bar and grips, complete sram x0 with road cassette, 205mm hope 6ti in the front, floating 180mm m4 rear, schwalbe al mighty tyres, raceface atlas crank with mrp carbon chainguide, nc17mag pedals, selle italia flite slr. seatpost....choose one. do i forgot something?
here and there a little bit of carbon-tuning. carbon levers, spacer...

but, if you like it, ride it. it isn't mine, but i would like to get such a the frame..:D

i like it :daumen:
would love to have a go on that thing

in this forum ur not allowed to react other than "doubletracks, 3" gazzas? nobody needs this stuff." you have to forgive the inevitable mentioning of (super)monster, it is just already affixed to these kids brains.

but its funny every time :)

Supermonster suxx, it completely destroys geometry and doesnt have better damping than avy does. Its just longer damper monster version , i dont like it, its even not sensitive to small bumps and its harsh on drops cuz first the heavy wheel and lowers hit the ground b4 it starts to compress. Thats why i love usd and mtn8.

Its not built for racing people... Whatever if i dont need such suspension? I LIKE IT! And gazzas rulez, theire slow, thats a fact , but theire eating everything in your way like +5cm of travel and allow you to run 0.7psi making you almost unstopable ;P I love them. Why 24? They lower the centre of mass and helps me in manualing and cornering.

Youre right about those kids, there are a lot of them here in Poland too... I want to see anybody with dhx air in full progressive mode where travel is starting at 5:1 leverage ratio haha :D

And others, please dont tell me how this bike should be... it should be as it is! I had many many many bikes, frames, forks... im dealing it already. I have few armageddons for sale if interested, one with avy too!

The thing is ive destroyed everything besides few forks ( monsta 2002 - i love them, i only cracked the crowns but its good, cheap to replace with own machined one and stratos s8 - theire really solid! ) and armies and one disco. There was few others also...

I always wanted to have a bike that would make you safe on bad drop and gap landings, feel nothing in the mountains and keep you comfortable on dirt jumps. Now i have all that and this bike will not break after few months of riding, it will probably last through all my biking life! Thats what i love.

Oh an about the moutain, its about 1400m over the sea level. 20km from my city Jelenia Góra. The photo is taken in Szklarska Poreba, it few meters from Czech Boarder :) Also its not far away from germany, i have only about 200km to Berlin. Polish mountains are beautifull , theres so many place to ride here! This day the photo was taken we were riding multitrail, we made it up the mountain in almost 4 hours... ( itd hard to push this baby for 4 hours with rocky and steepy terrain ) and than almost 5 hours of riding down!

And about armies , i have a S-M black one with custom tuned fox rc ( pictured on second photo with boxxers ) perfect condition for 1700 euro

Also i have M-L one , black too with normal fox rc for 1500 euro

Both can come with avy shock instead of fox with 300 euro extra charge.

Im also an avy dealer here, www.avy.pl ( please add 22% tax )

To get current prices with shipping to germany gimme an email to [email protected] :>

Yeah i saw the bike while ago, its a beauty, and has well setup besides 888 fork. I would never fit it in me bike... even if anyone would pay me for this.

Its the most shitty thing marzocchi ever created, where are those good times of old monsters and shivers ;/

Shitty damping, crowns thick like paper, cracking arches , cracking dropouts, easy to destroy the dampers with any powerfull bottom out. For that price you could buy stratos s8 or 2002 monsta or even a shiver which weights almost same and works better and lasts much longer. What a crap.

And the frame looks set up @ 270mm travel and almost full linear mode.
