Hello from an American

I hope some will reply to me in English because I'm new to Germany and haven't picked up the language quickly, but will soon hopefully

I am stationed in the Army in Baumholder and have picked up an interest in bike riding, specifically trails/mountain, or scenic bike riding.

I was wondering if there we're anyone near my area that knows some good spots to ride, or someone who wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction of some nice places to ride. I have a long weekend this weekend and want to just go and enjoy your beautiful country.

You may have more luck in the regional forums with your request.

Have a look into the "Saarland, Westpfalz und Lothringen" one.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I never was very good in geographics.
