Subject: Ride More, Work Less

Hi All,

Most of you know I have been trying to live up to the words written in the subject line for the last few years.

Life has been great lately, but without Ibis around something was missing, not just for me but also from the bike world in general. It's time that was fixed.

In September, Ibis returns. There’s not a lot of news to report right now, but there will be plenty to talk about as September approaches.

To find out more, and see "Grizzly Ibis" circa 1981 go to: http://www.under-old-management.com

Spread the word,
Scot

Howdy Ibis mail list folk,

In about 18 days, we're going to officially launch the new Ibis. We'll be showing the bike dealers and distributors of the world our wares at the annual Interbike trade show in Las Vegas.

We're not going to forget about you though. We'll be launching the Ibis site at about the same time our bikes are unveiled at Interbike. So you'll be among the first to get a peek at what the future holds for Ibis.

We've also added a little news section to our site. We'll be updating now and again. Check it out. The url is www.ibisbicycles.com/blog

It's hard to say if there will be any updates between now and the show (Sept 28-30). It depends on the internet connections at our secret testing grounds on the island of Corsica. That's where I will be, riding the new Ibis road bike. And that's after we test the bike in Tuscany. Hopefully I'll be able to send back some nice pictures of the bike in beautiful settings.

So remember Ride More, Work Less. And don't expect an answer from any emails you send me in the next couple weeks. Product testing is exhausting work.

Ciao,
Scot Nicol

Howdy,

You're receiving this mail because you (or someone impersonating you) asked to be informed about availability of Ibis decals.

I finally have some good news. And some just plain news, not good or bad.
The good news is that I received a pretty big stash (nearly 3000) of original new old stock Ibis decals yesterday. The other good news is that I'll be putting together a little web page showing all the decals, with mounting instructions, hopefully a list of which bikes they go on, and a way to order them.

The just plain news for you is actually fantastic news for me, I'm leaving town and won't be back until October 1. So I'm not going to have any time to work on the website or inventory the decals until after that. Not that you asked, but I'm headed to Tuscany to ride bikes, and then to Corsica to lead a bike tour. All in the name of testing the new Ibis road bike mind you, it's not like I'll be having fun.

So, I won't be back until October 1. Then it'll take me a couple weeks to get the inventory done, pictures taken, site built, etc.
So please bear with me.

If you could kindly wait to ask questions until my next message out to you, I'd really appreciate it. I won't be able to respond until then anyway.

Keep up to date on all other things Ibis at
www.ibisbicycles.com
and the news section at
www.ibisbicycles.com/blog

If you want to be taken off this list, just send me a note and I'll delete you before the next mailing goes out.

Talk to you next month.
Scot Nicol

ladies and gentleman, ibis is definitely back!

statt handjob gibts beim neuen mojo nen blowjob am hinterbau... hehehe :D

"Ibis Silk Carbon

Have you had a chance to ride one of the newer carbon fiber road bikes? One with a carbon fork and one of the 10 speed groups? Maybe with a nice wheelset too that lets it bump against that UCI mandated 6.8Kg weight limit? If not, man (or woman or girl or boy) are you in for a treat. If so, you understand what we?re talking about when we say the Ibis Silk Carbon is the nicest riding road bike we have ever ridden. It's stiff and smooth in all the right places. Feels great in a sprint or while you?re sitting in the saddle all day on an easy cruise. It goes up hill like it was not piloted by one of us Ibisians, but instead by someone named Jacques :D or Eddy.

Carbon technology in the bike industry has made tremendous strides in the last few years, and there are a lot of good bikes out there. We think ours is among the best.

The frame is carbon monocoque, and exceptionally durable and lightweight method of frame construction. You can read all about carbon technology in our little information piece here.
Our 58 cm size weighs in at about 970g. That's two pounds and a little bit of change. Or if you prefer, it's about the weight found in couple of 16 oz water bottles.
The dropouts are lightweight compression molded carbonfiber. There's a replaceable hangar too.
You can get it as a complete bike, or just a frame only."
