Marzocchi Marathon XC oder RockShox Reba Race

Hi,

hab zwar grad einen ähnlichen thread "RockShox oder Marzocchi" gesehen, aber diesmal sind die Gabeln andere..

Ich kann mich nicht zwischen einer Marzocchi Marathon oder der RockShox Reba entscheiden.

Für die Reba spricht das geringere Gewicht, die RemoteControl, die Wippfreiheit, während für die Marathon die Absenkbarkeit und die Sorglosigkeit spricht.

Die Gabel soll um die 100 mm Federweg haben und kommt in ein Fully

Hat jemand Ideen?

guck einfach in den von dir oben genannten thread rein. da steht alles drin. die marzocchis sind ja nun auch nicht soooo unterschiedlich

Schaut mal, das habe ich heute aus Amerika von einem erfahrenen MoutainBiker bekommen:

Hey,

The Rockshox Reba Race is a unique fork design. Its
hard to compare directly to another fork except in
overall ride. The Reba is effected by air changes and
by adjusting the PSI you can get the ride very close
to other forks. I would not upgrade to the Pyslo Fork,
you would be better served by the Reba because of the
anti-motion control and sturdy 32mm stanctions. The
price vs. performance is what makes this fork so
attractive.

Its very close in ride quality to a Fox Talas or
Manitou Minute if you play with the air PSI and
compression/floodgate settings enough. Very sturdy
fork that can take impacts yet its realitively lite.

Its all in the adjusting...Fox forks tend to be a set
it and forget it. The Reba is very flexible and can be
adjusted to anyones taste in my opinion.

I have changed air PSI and the anti-motion damping
gets effected somewhat but the fork is very plush.
I can firm the fork up and I can crank hard out of the
saddle.

I would say the Reba is in with the Talas and Manitou
Minute. Those seem the closet in comparision.

Its defintely a step up from a Fox Vanilla or
Marzocchi Marathon SL.
