One more practical and safety advice when you will be measuring the weighs with your bike ascended/descended because the scales should be placed on hard surface

.
- Lay some anti-slippery rubber cloth on the floor under the scales to prevent them from accidentally sliding on the floor.
- Use another anti-slippery cloth under the elevated wheel.
- !!! Use some chair to help you climb on your bike when one of the wheels will be elevated !!! I elevated the rear wheel by 20cm and it is REALLY high!
- !!! Apply both brakes when climbing on the bike to prevent the lower wheel from skidding on the scales, and rear wheel from over-running because you will have to put your weigh on one pedal.

Sidenote: Everytime I checked the weight of the bike and it was distributed almost evenly (+- 500g), so the bike's alone CoG is at 1/2 of its wheelbase. I have a DHX5.0 coil shock and Lyrik Coil UTurn with 170mm travel.
