Picture this:
1 small cellar (bike room), and 7 bikes. I have been "asked" by my wife to clear a "couple" of them for a few months now, but to date, I have not seriously gone about it. Well, I was back in Singapore on holidays and decided to ship some of my fishing equipment over. I honestly did not know, but I had somehow accumulated over 200kg worth of fishing tackle! Reels, rods, poppers, pilers (?), wobblers etc etc. Anyway, they are on the way now, and I now really have to sell my bike stuff.
1. 1991 (?) Marin Team Titanium
I bought this on Ebay for close to 700 Euro because I really like Marins (and Konas) in general.
This Marin Team Titanium is also one of the very early and desired versions manufactured by Litespeed. You can tell this by the 3 holes in the dropouts. It is one of the earliest, if not the earliest production titanium mountainbikes ever. It has a 1" headtube, and comes with a triple butted thread Kona Project 2 fork. I really like this fork as well because the finishing resembles my other Kona Track 2 fork which uses Ishiwata tubing as the blades. The normal triple butted Project 2 fork does not have this shiny gunmetal finish.
I have stripped all the parts and cleaned the frame properly. The old BB has been taken out, and a UN91 been put inside. I have also swapped out the XC Pro crank with an old XTR M900. But the rest are all in the parts bin. I wanted to build her up, and if I do not find a buyer, I will.
The other parts are XT headset, Suntour Seatpost, Suntour SE cantilevers, XC Pro front and rear mech. I think it comes with a Fat Chance True Temper Lite handlebar, but I cannot be sure. GripShift shifters ..... I will also throw in a pair of old XTR m900 wheels (with 517 rims)
The toptube is 580-590cm. The seattube is erm... okay, I will get back to you on this. I would think that this is suited for riders from 1.78m (?)
I would like to ask 670 Euro for everything including the UN91, M900 cranks, and wheels. Paypal is fine, or direct wire transfer. Cash, if you are in Hamburg is perfect btw. You pay shipping.
These are the old pictures http://gallery27280.fotopic.net/c318276.html
The "cleaned" frame looks way nicer. Btw, I have already given away the fat Chance saddle, so it does not come with saddle. Sorry! ;-)
If anyone is really interested, I will take pictures and send it to you next week.
2. 16" 1992 Kona Explosif Frame only with triple butted Project 2 fork. Tange Prestige Concept.
One of my favourite frames. Joe Murray! Comes with all decals. Tired looking, but all there. Scratches from riding. Never jumped. Never abused. Never had a hard fall. Extremely light and responsive. Would make for an awesome, awesome bike for the smaller rider or lady. (Kona measures centre of BB to top of seattube so this is a small frame!) Comes with triple butted Project 2 fork.

150 Euro.
Btw, NO dings, NO dents, NO holes etc etc.
3. 17.5" 1992 Marin Team Issue Frame only (no fork). Tange Prestige Ultimate
Another of my well loved frames. Nickle plated. hm.. the idea was good, or was it? This was used way less than the Kona, but the finish looks alot worse. Dont know why, I guess the nickle plating was not such a good idea? There is surface rust, so I applied rust remover (a few years ago) which kills the rust, but leaves a layer of black coating. Great, the rust is gone, but there is some black stuff there. Well, I have never crashed, or done anyting crazy except just normal fireroads. The condition is superb except cosmetically. Btw, this is the one which is silver colour and has light green decals.
It looks worse than the Kona, but I rode the Kona way more than the Marin.... oh well... Btw, NO dings, NO dents, NO holes etc etc.

4. A bloody Focus alu crap bike. But nah, I cannot sell it because it was a birthday present from my father-in-law to my wife! <growl> ...
Send me a mailer if you are interested.
cheers, zeck
ps. The Hei Hei and Serotta are not for sale. Don't ask. ;-)
